The house
The lodge is a hundred and twenty meters from the gondola base on the corner of the street. Those who come skiing enter through the back door and deliver the skis in the equipment room, before the lobby. The fireplace of the hall is lit at seven o'clock in the morning and only goes out at midnight; beside it there is tea and a pot of soup.
It's twenty-two quarters on three floors. Fourteen give to the hillside and have a balcony; six give to the valley and are the quietest; two are suites of fifty-eight square meters, with fire fire to wood and bathtub by the window. The façade stone came from a quarry 40 kilometers away and the wood is from Colorado pine.
The equipment room has forty-four heated cabinets: you leave the boot wet at five and find it dry and warm at 7:30. The sauna and the balcony hot tub are open until 9 p.m., and soup is served in the lounge until 11 p.m., for those who come down late from the mountain.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you ski to the door?
Even the back door, yes, when the snow at the base can hold — in March, it often fails. The gondola is a hundred and twenty meters away and the lodge takes the skis in the morning and at the end of the day.
Where are the skis at night?
In the equipment room, in one of the forty-four heated cabinets, each with the number of your room. The boots dry during the night and are warm for 7:30.
Does the restaurant answer who's not staying?
The eleven tables barely manage the twenty-two rooms in the ski season, and we prefer to secure the table of the sleeper here.
And in the summer, what do you do?
The gondola rises from mid-June to September, and from here trails walk and bike. The summer day is just above regular — far from January; the cheapest weeks of the year range from April 10 to June 10, with the green valley and gondola standing still.
Can I take the dog?
It can, in six of the twenty-two rooms, with a fee of $100 per night. They don't go into the dining room or the sauna, and there's a walk with the dog at 7:00 in the morning if you want.
