The house
The entrance is a four hundred-metre gravel road between the vines, and ends in the old grape reception courtyard. The stone building is from 1908 and was a winery until 2017; it became a hotel in 2019 with twelve bedrooms. He who arrives in the evening is received in the shadow of the courtyard, with a glass of wine made there.
Six rooms occupy the ground floor, where the stone wall is sixty centimeters and the air is fresh even in August; the other six are under the roof, with windows facing the vineyard. None of them have TV. The beds are linen, and eight of the twelve rooms have bath by the window.
The exam is at five o'clock in the barricade room, and the first one is included in the stay. Dinner is at eight, at one table only, of fourteen places: five times, written in the morning, after the fair in St. Helena. Around the house are four hectares of cabernet, harvested between the end of August and October.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to book dinner?
You do, until noon of the same day. The table has fourteen seats and the menu is one, written after the fair — tell there what you do not eat and the kitchen changes the dish.
Can I take my kids?
From twelve years on, yes. Below that, no: Dinner is in common table at eight, and the house has no place to accommodate small child without disturbing the other eleven rooms.
Is the wine tasting included?
The first is one per guest, the following cost $65 per person, and the visit to the vineyard with the winemaker, at nine in the morning, is not charged.
Can you visit other wineries?
It does, and that's what most people do. The house reserves visits and makes a driver available per day — the bicycles serve for the three wineries ten minutes away, but not for the whole valley.
Is there really no TV?
It does not, in any of the twelve rooms, and it was not economic: it was a decision of the house when it opened. There's Wi-Fi all over the building and a projector in the barricade room, if the group wants.
