The house
It is a hundred and ten kilometers from Lençóis, and the last eleven are from a dirt road that asks for a tall car after the rain. The gate is two kilometers from Capão village and the seat is another eight hundred meters, on a plateau at nine hundred and eighty meters high. The transfer of the house searches at Lençois airport and takes two hours to the gate.
The seat is of taipa and stone, erected in 1952 and renovated in 2019 without changing the structure: clay tile, aroeira squadron and burned cement floor. The six suites occupy two low wings around the courtyard, each with balcony and hammock. The kitchen is the largest room in the house, with wood stove, table of fourteen places and a door that never closes.
The coffee leaves at six, the horses are sealed at seven and the trail of the Riachinho takes forty minutes to a waterfall of dark water with deep well. Smoke Waterfall is an hour and a half walk from the gate, and the guide of the house leaves with the group at five in the morning, when you can still see the fog rise from the valley.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need a tall car?
In the final eleven kilometers, yes, when it rains — between November and March. In dry time passes the car, slowly. If you prefer, the transfer of the house solves the whole stretch.
Do you have a cell signal?
Only in the village, two kilometers away. On the farm there is 30 Mb radio internet, which can withstand message and voice call, but not video at peak time.
Can you climb Smoke with a kid?
The climb has an hour and a half of loose stone and two stretches of hand. The guide of the house takes children from the age of ten; below that, the trail of the Riachinho is better and also ends in a waterfall.
Do you take a card?
The booking yes, by payment link. On the farm there is no machine and the village has no ATM, so it is convenient to bring money to the local guide and to the Saturday fair.
