How it works
In the stays of more than a week the whole trousseau comes out and enters another, washed and passed out of the house: sheets, pillowcases, duvets, bath and face towels, beach towels, bathrobes, dishcloths and the towel of the big table. The exchange is made one morning, with the house empty, and it takes about two hours.
Each house has three complete games in castor: one in bed, one in the closet and one in the laundry. What comes back to the shelf only after it has been checked piece by piece, and a piece with stain that has not come out is removed from circulation and replaced — you do not sleep in anything patched up.
If you need to switch out of the week, just talk to the housekeeper: child with fever, wine on the sheet, dog who went to bed. That exchange is not charged separately. What is charged is the weekly round, and it is charged only in the weeks the house has been occupied.
